Taking start in the new set of climate and energy targets within the European Union, the Swedish Regional Energy Agencies invites You to a conference for European regional and local energy actors. The new 20-20-20 climate and energy targets are a challenge for all actors within EU. What are the roles and opportunities for local and regional energy actors in the forthcoming work?
The conference is arranged parallel to the UN Climate negotiations, COP 15, where Sweden as President of the EU will play a central role. Besides The Energy Agency Conference there are a large number of side events taking place in Copenhagen as well as in Malmö.

The Genoa Study Visit took place on the 14th and 15th of May 2009.
The whole event was a succes with all of the partners who attended able to learn how Genoa is implementing energy planning to their local area.

The 13th, 14th and 15th May will see the finale of the PEPESEC study visits which will be held in Genoa, Italy. This will give the partners an opportunity to learn how the Italians have adapted energy planning to the suburb as well as to share learning within the workshops that will occur.
