Manchester Confirmed as Low Carbon Economic Area for the Built Environment
Posted by: | CommentsGreater Manchester has been confirmed as the government’s 4th Low Carbon Economic Area, with the focus being on encouraging initiatives across “the built environment.”
Crain’s Manchester Business website reports that the new designation ” is expected to save 6 million tones of carbon, create an additional £650m to the economy and support 34,800 jobs.”
